quilting

Pieceful Monday

Friday rolled around and I realized I didn’t have any finishes to share and I wouldn’t have time for much quilting. BigJ is still laying flooring in our downstairs, so I opted to let him work and did little quilting over the weekend.

I am ready to stitch the Humble Quilts Quilters Madder QAL blocks together. The pattern is Old Maid’s Puzzle. I don’t usually like pink quilts, but this quilt has grown on me. I’m not sure what I will do with this quilt once it’s completed, but it has been a fun process. I’ll definitely do another QAL if Lori hosts another.  Here’s the blocks on my design board.

The autumn table runner has yet to be finished. I’m still thinking about the quilting and what I want to do. I need to try a few practice runs on a couple of ideas. Then I need to just get it done.

I’m also ready to pull out some Christmas fabric and make a few projects. Here’s some fabric I have in my stash that I think I’ll use.

For today, I’ll work on the Madder quilt and do some practice runs on the quilting for the table runner. However, my daughter is home, so I may forego all quilt projects for the day and just spend time with her!

Linking up today with Cooking Up Quilts, Em’s Scrap Bag and Love Laugh Quilt.
