I went to a quilt show this weekend in one of the prettiest venues, the Owatonna Arts Center. If you are in the area, stop in and see the beautiful quilts in this setting. They are so inspiring. The show is there until the end of the month. Now that I’ve been inspired, I best get crackin’ on my projects for the week.
Little Mini Quilts
I have these little mini mini quilts waiting for me to finish. So I hope to do that this week. They shouldn’t take too long.
Harmony Table Runner
I have the backing fabric for this now, so I hope to get this done this week. It’s going to a friend of mine, so I’m looking forward to finishing it for her.
Okay, that’s not the name of the pattern, but it’s what I call this quilt. This is back from Connie, so all I need to do is add the binding. I hope to show you the completed quilt on Friday.
The Elephant Quilt
Do you remember this quilt? I am so excited to have this one done and can’t wait to show you the quilting! This one needs a binding and it’s finished.
The top is finally done, so I’ll be picking up the backing fabric this week and then taking it over to Connie. So excited to have this top finished! No pictures until it is given to its new owner, so you’ll just have to imagine what it looks like. It has lots of little pointy stars, to give you a hint.
2017 New Bloggers Blog Hop
I have been getting to know a group of new bloggers, like myself, over the past few weeks. This blog hop is hosted by Yvonne of QuiltingJetGirl, Beth at Cooking Up Quilts, and LeAnne at She Can Quilt. The new bloggers are divided into hives, and each of the three hosts are the “hive mamas”. Let’s Bee Quilt’n is the hive I’m in and LeAnne of She Can Quilt is our hive mama. You’ll see a blog post from me popping up on May 8th. In the meantime, hop on over to She Can Quilt and meet some of the other bloggers.
Hope you have a great week in your sewing room too! What are you working on this week?
