Woven Quilt

Cindy of Stitchin’ at Home released her new design, Woven, this past weekend. Today I’d like to show you my Woven quilt, which I had fun playing with as a pattern test for Cindy.

Woven is such a versatile pattern, with so many ways to use different fabrics. I chose to use purples, yellows and a low volume background. You can see Cindy’s quilt – and get the pattern –  here and Anja’s (Anja Quilts) version here. I enjoy the variety of fabrics used; it gets me thinking of other possibilities!

When I took this quilt to Connie, my longarm bestie, I told her to have some fun. So she went a little out of the box with the thread color (she called me first, and I said go for it!). She used a bright pink neon thread to add an additional pop of color. Fun, huh?

I love the way the quilting looks on the back, too.

This quilt went together so quickly and easily, and it’s a nice generous baby size quilt.

You can find all the details on the quilt and get your own copy of the pattern on Cindy’s post here

I hope you enjoyed this peek at my Woven quilt. Thanks for the fun pattern test, Cindy!
