To Do Tuesday #12

It’s past 11 pm as I’m writing this To Do Tuesday #12 post. I’ve been sitting here happily stitching away on a binding, watching a show, when I realized I hadn’t written this post yet! I want to join in with Roseanne and Sue of Home Sewn By Us for this fun linky party. Have you joined in? You can find all the details on their blog.

I made good progress this week, let’s see what was on my list.

  • Quilt the improv project – Done!
  • Bind Mt. Hood – Done!
  • Sew borders on Minnesota Mystery Quilt – Done!
  • Finish improv triangles – not done, but some progress

A peek at the quilting and binding on my Mt. Hood quilt - piecefulthoughts.com

That’s a little sneak peek at Mt. Hood with the lovely quilting by Connie of Turnberry Lane Quilting.  She quilted two more quilts for me recently, and I’m pretty excited to have more UFOs  almost done!

This coming week, my tasks are:

  • Bind my oldest UFO (it’s vintage!!)
  • Bind Juggling Act quilt
  • Work on challenge quilt due May 1st
  • Finish improv triangles
  • April Churn Dash blocks
  • April Color Challenge Block

You read that right, I’m finally — finally — finishing my oldest UFO. I’ll tell you just how old when I write the post, so you’ll have to stay tuned.

And yes, I have a challenge quilt for The Endeavourers group that is due May 1st. Our challenge is “scene from a book”. I think I have a plan, and now I need to get going and see if I can get it done!

So that’s my list for this week. That should keep me out of trouble!

What about you? What is distracting you in your quilt room lately? I alway enjoy hearing about your projects and finding inspiration. Meanwhile, be sure to hop over to Home Sewn by Us and see what others are up to this week!

Wendy
