Eva’s SAHRR Progress

I’m sharing Eva’s SAHRR progress once again. She has been rocking her quilt skills as she quilts along with us. Since Eva has a very busy day job, she works on her quilt as she has time, so she’s doing a little catch up, but I think you will really enjoy seeing her progress!

In my last post on Eva’s progress, I showed you her stars in the corner. One thing I didn’t mention is that Eva and I are both sewing along with Brenda Gael Smith and her Dreamlines Project 2023 (just hover and click to learn more). In Eva’s quilt, the orange border next to the stars, is the first of the Dreamlines prompts in our other sew along. She’s so clever to have taken that idea and put it into her border! I love it when two projects work together so well!

Eva’ s current progress is with her flying geese blocks, zebra style!

She did some tricky piecing on her zebra geese – don’t they look great?! She hasn’t attached them to her quilt yet; she’s pondering her design (and we’ve all been there, right?), but she’s very close. Here’s the full quilt with some auditioning of extra blocks.

She’s giving some thought to adding those larger stars to that corner – isn’t that cool? I think she’s on the right track, and it’s so fun to see her stretching herself a little as she works through this quilt. I know what’s coming next, too, and I can’t wait to see it. I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing Eva’s SAHRR progress once again!

As much as I have enjoyed making my own SAHRR, I’ve really enjoyed seeing what each one of you are creating!

Happy stitching, all!

Wendy
