To Do Tuesday 47

I’m linking up this To Do Tuesday 47 post with Roseanne and Sue over at Home Sewn by Us. We share progress on our weekly projects and plan our projects for the next week. It’s been very helpful for me to do this, so thanks, Roseanne and Sue!

I had quite a few things on my list last week, enough to keep me out of trouble (wink).

Stay at Home Round Robin

I’m making good progress on my Round Robin quilt. You can see my Round 2 border in this post. I just finished the border for my post, and I’m pretty excited about sharing it with you. Now that it’s done, I’m going to play with another project for a little break.

Project Quilting 12.2

I enjoyed making this little mug mat for the Project Quilting 12.2 challenge. You can read more about it here

Churn Dash Blocks

I did get the blocks out this week, and laid them out on my bed since it’s easier than trying to find floor space. This is not the layout of the quilt. I just put the blocks out so I could see how they were going together, how many more I’d need, etc.

The 9-inch blocks need borders. I’m missing one 6-inch block and I need to make two more full-size blocks. Then I’ll be ready to play with layout.

Marcia Derse Quilt

This is the only project that didn’t get any attention this week. I have about three rows sewn together. Here’s a little peek.

I do like how it’s turning out, and it should go together quickly once I get back to it.

What’s Up for This Week

  • Finish up Churn Dash blocks
  • Layout Deli Geese blocks
  • Finish Marcia Derse The Blue One (I really need a new name for this quilt)
  • Write Endeavourers Challenge post

We’ll see how much I get done this week – I have a little squirrel calling my name, too! Thanks for reading my To Do Tuesday 47 post!
